A Defensive Building is a structure that will defend your yard from hostile monsters, whether they are from other players or from Wild Monster Tribes . Each Defensive Building has its own characteristics. For example, the Sniper Tower is very good at damaging high health monsters from far away, while a Cannon Tower can attack many monsters at once.

Upgrading a Defensive Building will enhance its damage output, range, health, and other characteristics unique to that tower. Fortifying a Defensive Building will decrease the damage taken from enemy monsters and catapult attacks by a certain percentage. This percentage goes up the more you fortify the building. Note that not all Defensive Buildings can be upgraded or fortified.

It is important to keep in mind that as Defensive Buildings get damaged, they deal less damage to enemy monsters. At half HP, they deal 3/4 of their original damage. When almost completely destroyed, they deal 1/2 of their original damage.

Sniper Tower

Sniper Tower Requirements: Level 1 Town Hall
Description: Long range, high damage, but slow to reload. This tower picks off enemy monsters before they even get close. Protect a larger area with this tower.
Upgrade Effect: Upgrading the Sniper Tower will increase its fire power and range.

Cannon Tower

Cannon Tower Requirements: Level 1 Town Hall
Description: Short range but high damage, this tower shells explode on impact, great for taking out tightly-packed groups.
Upgrade Effect: Upgrading the Cannon Tower will increase its fire power, range, and explosion range.

Tesla Tower

Tesla Tower Requirements: Level 4 Town Hall
Description: Talk about evil science, this high voltage tower fries any enemy that gets within range.
Upgrade Effect: Upgrading the Tesla Tower increases the shocks per charge, damage per shock and range.

Laser Tower

Laser Tower Requirements: Level 4 Town Hall
Description Deadly and fast, this plasma energy tower zaps any invading enemy at the speed of light.
Upgrade Effect: Upgrading the Laser Tower increases its damage per second and range.

Monster Bunker

Monster Bunker Requirements: Level 3 Town Hall & Level 1 Housing
Description This defensive housing allows monsters to fight to death defending your base.
Upgrade Effect: Upgrading the Monster Bunker will increase its housing capacity and range.

Railgun Tower

Railgun Tower Requirements: Level 5 Town Hall
Description: An electrical gun that accelerates a conductive projectile along a pair of rails, the Railgun Tower makes up for its limited range with high damage and an infinite line of fire.
Upgrade Effect: Upgrading the Railgun Tower will increase its firepower and range.

Aerial Defense Tower

Aerial Defense Tower Requirements: Level 4 Town Hall
Description: Fast-firing cannon designed to nullify or reduce the effectiveness of hostile air action.
Upgrade Effect: Upgrading the Aerial Defense Tower will increase its range, damage per bomb and shots fired per salvo.

Booby Trap

Booby Trap

Requirements: Level 2 Town Hall
Description: Invisible to the enemy until it is too late. Triggered when a Monster steps on it, deals large damage to a small area. Place close to buildings or use walls with gaps to group attackers into a small space.
Upgrade Effect: None

Champion Cage

Champion Cage

Requirements: Level 4 Town Hall
Description: Hatch and evolve Champion Monster to attack your enemies and defend your base.
Upgrade Effect: None

Block

Block 1 Requirements: Level 2 Town Hall
Description: A simple Block, use it to build walls to protect buildings and channel attackers into traps or closer to towers. Can be upgraded from wood to stone to metal to gold.
Upgrade Effect: Upgrading the Block will increase its hit points.

Heavy Trap

Heavy Trap Requirements: Level 4 Town Hall
Description: Invisible to the enemies until it's too late, Heavy Traps use a specialized trigger that only fires when the most powerful monsters step on it, but cause the splash damage to all nearby units.
Upgrade Effect: None

Champion Chamber

Champion Chamber Requirements: Level 4 Town Hall
Description: This building allows you to change out your active champ, keeping inactive ones safe on ice until you call them forth again. (Frozen champs aren't hurt even when the Champion Chamber is completely destroyed)

Spurtz Cannon

Spurtz Cannon 1

Requirements: Brukkarg War - Destroy 3rd, 4rth yard - Destroy 5th to get Black Diamond
Description: Your very own Backyard shotgun! This cannon fires a Spurtz militia to do your bidding - just what you need to stop groups of invaders dead in their tracks.
Upgrade Effect: Upgading the Spurtz Cannon will increase the numbeer of Spurtz fired, the cannon's range, and explosion range.

Sharpshooter Tower

Sharpshooter Requirements: Level 1 Under Hall
Description: Long-range tower great for picking off monsters one by one.
Upgrade Effect: Upgrading the Sharpshooter will increase its fire power and range.

Blast Tower

Blast Tower Requirements: Level 1 Under Hall
Description: Short-range tower with exploding shells that do splash damage.
Upgrade Effect: Upgrading the Blast Tower will increase its fire power, range, and explosion range.

Magma Tower

Magma Tower Requirements: Unknown
Description: Fires bursts of molten rock that do massive damage.
Upgrade Effect: Unknown

Quake Tower

Quake Tower Requirements: Unknown
Description: Creates an earthquake that does damage to all monsters in a certain area.
Upgrade Effect: Unknown

Block (Inferno)

Inferno Block Requirements: Level 1 Under Hall
Description: A simple Block, use it to build walls to protect buildings and channel attackers into traps or closer to towers. Can be upgraded from brimstone to granite to forged steel.
Upgrade Effect: Upgrading the Block will increase its hit points.

Trivia

  • Though the Champion Chamber is considered a Defensive Building, it functions like a normal building; it cannot attack defending monsters.
