Spurtz is thePokey of Inferno. It serves the same purpose as Pokey: to destroy in swarms.
Spurtz has quite higher stats than Pokey. They are more durable, can hit harder, and move quicker. This, however, comes at a small price of 15 housing spaces at Level 1.

Trivia
- Spurtz hovers a little above the ground. Because of this, some people believed that Spurtz would not be able to trip booby traps, this has been proven false, however.
- At Level 1, they have 2x more health than a Level 1 Pokey and 2x more damage than a Level 5 Pokey.
- A level 1 Spurtz is Stronger than a level 6 Pokey. But the level 1 Spurtz is cheaper than the level 6 Pokey.
- Both Spurtz and Pokey are fed to high damage Champions. (Korath and Drull )
- Spurtz cost more Magma at level 5 than an level 5 Malphus.
